Crab Stuffed Chicken Breasts Recipe

Ingredients

  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup white onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons dry white wine
  • 7-1/2 ounce can flaked crabmeat
  • 1/2 cup herb stuffing mix
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 package hollandaise sauce
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Pound chicken to flatten then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook onion and celery in butter until tender then remove from heat.
  3. Add 3 tablespoons wine, crab and stuffing mix then toss and divide mixture among breasts.
  4. Roll up and secure.
  5. Combine flour and paprika then coat chicken well and place in rectangular baking dish.
  6. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons butter then bake uncovered at 375 for 1 hour.
  7. Blend hollandaise sauce mix and milk then cook stirring until thick.
  8. Add remaining wine and cheese then stir until cheese melts and serve over chicken.
