Chicken with Beans and Potatoes
Ingredients
- 2 pound Boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1“ cubes
- 1/2 teaspoon Lemon-pepper seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Canola oil
- 1 pound Fresh green beans trimmed
- 1 pound Red potatoes quartered
- 1/2 cup Sweet onion thinly sliced
- 2 cans Chicken broth
- 2 tablespoon Onion soup mix
- 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Lemon peel grated
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
Instructions
- 1. Sprinkle chicken with lemon-pepper. In a large skillet, cook chicken in oil over medium heat for 4-5 minutes or until lightly browned.
- 2. In a slow- cooker, layer the green beans, potatoes and onions. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients; pour over vegetables. Top with chicken.
- 3. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until vegetables are tender. Serve with a slotted spoon.
