Chicken with Beans and Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 pound Boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1“ cubes
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Canola oil
  • 1 pound Fresh green beans trimmed
  • 1 pound Red potatoes quartered
  • 1/2 cup Sweet onion thinly sliced
  • 2 cans Chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoon Onion soup mix
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon peel grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Sprinkle chicken with lemon-pepper. In a large skillet, cook chicken in oil over medium heat for 4-5 minutes or until lightly browned.
  2. 2. In a slow- cooker, layer the green beans, potatoes and onions. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients; pour over vegetables. Top with chicken.
  3. 3. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until vegetables are tender. Serve with a slotted spoon.
