Brandied chicken with cheese
Ingredients
- 4 Chicken breast or turkey breast (uncooked)
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
- 1/4 cup Flour
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1/4 cup Brandy or substitute chicken broth
- 4 slices Provolone cheese or fontina cheese
Instructions
- 1. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Coat chicken with flour.
- 2. Melt butter in 12 in skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken in butter on each side until brown.
- 3. Add brandy. Cook uncovered until liquid has evaporated and chicken is no longer pink in center. Top chicken with cheese; remove from heat. Cover and let stand for about 2 min or until cheese is melted.
